PROPOSED RECOMMENDATION

To award a construction contract to R H Fullwood Ltd at a value of £805,870.23 for the demolition of a HORSA unit and replacement with a double prefabricated classroom unit at Boroughbridge Primary School.

BACKGROUND TO SUPPORT THE RECOMMENDATION

The scheme forms part of the CYPS Basic Need Programme.

A competitiveprocurement exercise was be undertaken between February and March 2024.  The scheme is programmed to commence on site in July 2024 and is due to complete September 2024.

LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE COMPLIANCE

The procurement exercise was undertaken in accordance with the Council’s Procurement and Contract Procedure Rules and the Public Contracts Regulations 2015

RECOMMENDATION

To note that a construction contract was awarded to R H Fullwood Ltd.
